SABPA Election 2005
Dear SABPA Members: On behalf of the election committee, I would like to thank all of you for participating the election of second term SABPA Board of Directors. Our first on-line election process was very successful, thanks to many SABPA officers and volunteers. Fourteen SABPA members sought for the election and nominated by fellow members to become candidates, 137 members voted and the top 11 voted candidates were elected as the new SABPA Board of Directors and they are:

Sui-Xiong Cai	Gen-Sheng Feng	Ming Guo	Hui Li
Rongshi Li	Xiaoxiong Lu	Chun Luo	Sofie Qiao
Zhu Shen	Yongmin Yang	Jackson Wan
Notes: 1). These candidates received more than 75 votes, while the runner ups received less then 68 votes. 2). Eleven were elected rather than 10 is because an one-vote difference near the cut off, which was deemed by the election committee as within the margin of errors.

Please join me to congratulate these new directors!! Some of them served in the first term and worked hard for SABPA and brought all the wonderful events to you. Others may be new to you, but will surely bring fresh air to SABPA. These 11 elected directors will join other 5 incumbent board members, Hui Cai, Jay Dong, Xiangming Fang, Yun He and Zhenping Wu, to serve the new Board of Directors of SABPA until the next election. I would also like to give special thanks to many volunteers who did a lot of work and made the election possible: James Zhao, Hong Jin, Yinong Xie, Xiaolin Li, Shuyan Lu, Qiong Zhang, Ray Li, Weitong Dong, Yahua Liu, Yun He, Ming Guo, and Xiaoming Fang. Once again, congratulations to the elected new directors and thank you all for your participation.
