The Saturday night of 24th SABPA committee members, friends, and family members gathered at the Valley Club of Carlsbad to celebrate Chinese New Year, and another successful year of the organization. Set from the very beginning the mission of SABPA to create values to our members and community, SABPA enjoyed a steady growth in 2008 by fully utilizing the strengths and motivation of leadership teams and volunteers as well.

The smooth and effective transfer of leadership roles from Dr. Hui Li to Dr. Xiangming Fang (San Diego Chapter) and from Dr. Ying Zhao to Dr. Hengchu Cao (OC/LA Chapter) was well received. We appreciated dedicated contributions in the past two years Drs Hui Li and Ying Zhao had devoted as Chapter President that collectively brought SABPA to what we are today. Going forward, we believe our new leaders will have strong supports from all of our members as well.

SABPA 2008 Awards presented at the New Year party , including Achievement, Leadership, and Team Awards, with the applauding for recognizing the excellences and with showing great respects to those outstanding contributors. The awardees also shared the collaborative and generous spirits that they experienced at every SABPA event. Not surprisingly, those characteristics are strengths that have allowed SABPA to develop and flourish steadily and productively.
