The San Diego Biopharma Conference 2008 was successfully held at Hilton Del Mar. Despite US Open and the San Diego County Fair, the conference attracted more than 300 attendees. The conference room was full and people even stood in the back. The speakers and panelists delivered great presentations and discussion. The conference which was jointly hosted for the 1st time by SABPA and SDCA, were chaired by Dr Sui-xiong Cai ( BOD of SABPA ), Dr Hui Li (President of SABPA), Dr Hui Cai (Chair of Board, SABPA), Dr. Ming Guo (BOD of SABPA ) and Dr Feng Tian (President of SDCA, BOD of SABPA).

The conference was sponsored by an unprecedented number of biotech and pharmaceutical companies as well as service and financial organizations. A large number of people, from the event chairs, SABPA board members and committee members, to volunteers, contributed their best efforts to make this event a sure success.
