SABPA Committee - Communication & Publication

 

The Communications & Publication committee aims to facilitate communication among SABPA, its members, sister organizations, the media, and the public. Communications include TV coverage, news reports, press release, monthly newsletters, promotional materials, the SABPA yearbook, flyers and brochures etc.  We strive to enhance SABPA’s visibility and accessibility, and to offer our members an effective platform for networking and professional growth.

 

The areas of committee responsibility include, but not limited to, the following scopes:

 

• Coordinate and foster relations with the press and media, including press releases, inquiries, and arranging and coordinating interviews
• Share and disseminate information on community events and job opportunities in great San Diego and pan-Pacific areas
• Communicate regularly with SABPA members via monthly newsletters and e-mail announcements
• Support and enhance publicity and outreach by soliciting and publishing articles pertaining to SABPA and its events
• Provide events flyers and brochures for each SABPA seminar and symposium

The strength of our committee is derived from our dedicated team members.  The committee welcomes involvement and contributions from individuals motivated to serve SABPA, and gain hand-on experience in media, leadership, public relations, management and interpersonal skills.
