SABPA Committee - Entrepreneur

The Entrepreneur committee provides the platform for SABPA members who wish to pursue their own business interests and a chance to learn more about entrepreneurial opportunities. Our goal is to bring together ambitious members to create a free-thinking, stimulating environment.

The areas of committee responsibility include, but not limited to, the following scopes:

• Organize and host quarterly entrepreneur symposiums
• Invite and communicate with potential speakers
• Work with Fund Raising committee to find and send thank you emails to sponsors
• Work with secretary to book room prior to meetings, pick up and return keys
• Work with Communications and Publications/ External Relations committees for event promotion
• Work with Membership committee for registration (special name tags for speakers and sponsors)
• Work with Social event committee for on site logistics

Every SABPA member can help this youngest committee to grow. You can contribute in many areas: inviting speakers, fundraising, helping onsite logistics, partnering with others to start a company. Most importantly, you can share your business ideas, successful/failure experience to your fellow members.
