SABPA Committee - Fund-raising

As a volunteer based non-profit organization, SABPA depends on donations to cover the operation cost. The fundraising committee coordinates the efforts to raise money through event sponsorship, corporate sponsorship, and personal donations. Successful fundraising over the years have enabled SABPA to organize many memorable events such as the annual picnic and annual biopharmaceutical symposium, as well as personal development seminars to better serve its members and the community. Through the tireless efforts of many formal and present committee members and volunteers, the fundraising committee has built a wide network of sponsors whose financial support allows SABPA to expand its activities and services.

Every committee member is a SABPA fundraiser. SABPA founders are the first fundraisers.  Our fundraisers come from all background, scientists, MBAs, post-docs and students. With believe in SABPA, many find out they are natural fundraisers. Through fundraising, fundraisers have built personal relationship with community and industry leaders.

Before each event, SABPA fundraisers work behind the scene to secure funding for the space rental, meals, and refreshment. The high quality of SABPA events have made the sponsorship an excellent opportunity for sponsors to promote their business. Our fundraisers reach out to local community and industry for financial support and at the same time build the image of SABPA.
