SABPA Committee - Membership

The Membership Committee was first set up in 2003. The purpose of the Membership Committee is to encourage all people interested in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical area to join and become active members of the SABPA. The committee reaches out the members and brings information about membership matters to the Executive Board to welcome new and to retain current members. The Membership Committee is also responsible for SABPA event registration. The devoted committee members and volunteers have done their best efforts to make every SABPA event registrations as smooth as possible. And we will continue out effort to make SABPA a more populous association. 

Goals

• To update and maintain committee membership list.
• To develop strategies for recruiting new members, and reaching out to general audience with diversified racial representation. 
• To develop logistics to have a smooth registration for every SABPA event.
• Recommending ways to acknowledge new members and encourage participation in SABPA activities.
• Identifying members' and nonmembers' needs and perceptions, analyzing them, and making recommendations to the SABPA Board.
