SABPA Treasurer
The Treasurers of SABPA have broad responsibilities and authority in areas of finance and accounting. The Treasurers are responsible for financial planning and reporting to management and external groups such as tax authorities. We are responsible for record keeping, and contribute to revenue development for the organization.
Over the years, the treasurer function has developed into a more sophisticated multifunctional financial unit. Externally, we work diligently to assure compliance to all regulatory agencies such as tax authorities. Internally, we have established a set of accounting rules, which lead to fast transactions and accurate bookkeeping. We oversee how the money is spent, either directly or authorizing as required. We prepare “overall” balance sheet and “event-based” balance sheet on
a regular basis to provide valuable insights to Executive Directors and Committees leaders.
Our long-term goal is to perfect our current practices and take on future challenges. We are committed to work diligently with all stakeholders and add more value to SABPA organization.
