Hefei Lifeon Bioscience is a start-up company focusing on research and development of therapeutic antibodies.  Located in Hefei High-Tech Zone, near Chinese University of Science and Technology, Anhui University and Anhui Medical University, with full financial support from Hefei Lifeon Group (http://www.lfyyjt.com/), the company is committed to develop novel antibody drugs for cancer, immune disorders and infectious diseases to meet the needs for both domestic and international markets.

 

The company currently has a Senior Director position opening for a highly motivated and experienced individual with entrepreneurial spirit to lead our therapeutic antibody programs. The major responsibilities of this position are (1) to manage R & D projects; (2) to supervise and train junior scientists and technicians. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge and expertise in therapeutic antibody field and be able to provide technical guidance in recombinant antigen / antibody cloning, expression, and purification; construction and display of antibody libraries; antibody affinity maturation and conjugation; and large-scale antibody production. Experience of managing research projects and personnel, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, are necessary.

 

Basic qualifications:

1. PhD in biological sciences or related discipline with over three years of R & D experience in antibody or protein therapeutics.

2. Strong molecular biology background and technical skills.

3. A good track record in scientific publications and patent applications.

4. Managerial experience in projects and scientific staff.
