WuXi AppTec Laboratory Testing Division’s International Marketing Team is looking for a Product Manager to join our team. We are leaders in providing services to global Pharmaceutical manufacturers that support the product life cycle from new drug discovery to regulatory submissions through clinical trials. However, we need to increase our team when it comes to developing strategic marketing plans for the services driving our business. The Product manager will be responsible for developing, initiating, creating and executing an annual marketing strategy and content that supports our current strategic business initiatives and supports meeting revenue targets. We are looking for someone with proven abilities in B2B marketing who has experience in managing services or product lines by developing and executing integrated marketing programs with proves success.  Our Product managers work closely with our technical, operations, sales team, customers, industry experts and regulatory agencies to do their job; demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed organization (cross-functional) team is necessary.


  • Develop, initiate, create and execute annual marketing plan and content strategies for assigned service lines include appropriate measurement to determine impact of activities.
  • Downstream: Position, perception using reach and lead generation to support annual sales goals.
  • Analyze market trends (competitive, pricing, regulatory, customer) and recommend changes to marketing strategies based on analysis and feedback.
  • Business owner for the services you support internally and externally
  • Provide sales training on service, differentiators, competitors and tools.  Collaborate with technical teams to develop content and provide technical training and support for service lines.
  • Develop network of industry experts including thought leaders, scientists and academics.
  • Collaborate with a team of Marketing Generalists (Digital Marketing Manager, meetings and Events) to execute your down-stream plan.
  • Engage corporate PR to obtain digital content approvals through and for appropriate channels.
  • Presents plans and results to stakeholders and leadership within the organization as requested.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as required.
  • Travel may be necessary for events and sales support.


  • Proven success in a marketing function within CRO industry, pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences that led to achieving or exceeding financial and market share goals.
  • Proven experience in successful marketing support with products/services throughout the lifecycle continuum required. (Proven upstream and downstream experience.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to present to/influence senior leadership teams. (Must be proficient in Microsoft office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical and Program and Project Management skills including time and budget management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use judgment as dictated by complexity of situation.
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in marketing, communications or business required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience.
