INVITATION TO SUBMIT TO SABPA YOUNG SCIENTIST POSTER CONTEST
SABPA (the Sino-American Biotechnolgy & Pharmaceutical Professional Association) invites you to submit posters for the Pacific Forum to be held at Del Mar Hilton in San Diego, October 1, 2016. The Pacific Forum theme focuses on cross border innovation and knowledge sharing in biomedical and pharmaceutical research and development which will represent a broad array of topics that facilitate transformations from basic research to clinical applications. We invite you to submit posters for this dynamic and exciting meeting.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
All presenters must be college or graduate school students or postdoctoral fellows. The theme of the posters can be all the fields of life science.
Submission and Deadline

Don’t wait until the last minute! Submission requires advance information from all participants. Begin the submission process early so that you have time to edit or add additional information. You can save your submission in draft form and re-visit it prior to the submission deadline to make changes as needed. All abstracts have a 5,000-character limit, excluding title and author information but including spaces. (Individual presenter abstracts for general sessions have a 2,000-character limit.) You may save and edit your submission at any time prior to submitting it to SABPA. The submission deadline is September 15.
Notification of Acceptance
The acceptance of poster presentations will be sent by September 20, 2016.
By submitting a proposal, you give SABPA the authority to electronically post your presentation, abstract, and learning objectives online, and to publish them in printed materials. You are responsible for editing your abstract and providing copy in final, print-ready form.
All poster abstracts are reviewed by the SABPA Pacific Forum Program Committee and ranked on the basis of scientific merit and educational needs of SABPA attendees. The selection criteria: Timeliness of topic; Diversity among presenters; Presentation balance between research and practice applications; Relationship to the Pacific Forum theme.
Posters will be attached to a wall or bulletin board. Size is limited to no large than 40”x 60”. Authors are strongly encouraged to print a hard copy of their abstract for their records before submitting. Expenses associated with the preparation, submission, and presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the author/presenter.
Presenting authors of the accepted posters will need to register to SABPA Pacific Forum with registration fee waived. Free registration instruction will be sent out together with acceptance notice.
4 posters will be selected to receive a SABPA Young Scientist Achievement awards and a SABPA award certificate.
