Position: Accounts Receivable & Marketing Coordinator – Biotech

Job Functions

  • Verify and process invoices for sales or services rendered
  • Collect on accounts by sending invoice reminders and communication with customers via phone, email, fax or mail
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Prepare cash and check payments for bank
  • Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments and customers
  • Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department
  • Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts
  • Generate reports detailing paid and unpaid invoices and other accounts receivable activity
  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; and coordinating mailing lists
  • Track marketing materials inventory and supply sales with new marketing materials as needed
  • Monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual expenses with plans and forecasts
  • Manage and track company expenses; ensure on-time payments of office and marketing-related items

Preferred Background/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in AR can substitute for education requirements
  • Attention to detail and organization skills
  • Experience with customer service and client communication
  • Strong mathematical and logical deduction skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated and successful individual who enjoys a challenging and dynamic work environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to use computer software
  • Mandarin written and verbal communications skills a plus
  • Requires American citizenship or with working permit in the US
