America Diagnostics Inc.(AmeriDx) is a San Diego based company (9235 Activity Rd Suite 101/102, San Diego, CA 92126 USA), looking for a self-motivated and goal-driven scientist to for molecular biology and cell biology projects. The candidate can work independently with basic molecular biology work and cell culture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cell lines daily.
- Test the compounds with cell based assays, such as ADP-Glo, NanoDRET cellular assay, ATG13 degradation assay, LC3 autophagy assay etc.
- Analyze the results and provide report timely.
- Carry out qPCR on ABI7900, and analyze the data, generate report timely.
- Work as a team for other company on-going projects.
Skills/Requirements:
- A M.S/Ph.D degree in biology or related discipline. Working knowledge of molecular biology and immunology is essential.
- Track-record of demonstrating independent research and data analysis for qPCR or ELISA assays.
- Details driven and a team worker.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
