At HD Biosciences, Inc. we are seeking Research Scientists to join our growing team! We are looking to hire for several openings across different experience levels.

Do you have:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or closely related field with 3+ years of relevant lab experience?

OR

• A PhD in biology, biochemistry, pharmacology or closely related field with relevant research work experience? (experience may or may not be required based on level of position)

Experience with any of the following:

• Human iPSCs/ESCs
• Cell-based assays, FACS assays, and neuronal culture
• Molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology assays
• Cell line development
• CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technology
• Animal models – specifically Oncology, Immuno-Oncology, liver disease, diabetes, metabolic syndromes, insulin resistance
• Immunology, cellular immunology, autoimmunity
• Mammalian Cell Cultures

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data analysis

Physical Requirements:                   

• Must be able to work in an office environment with minimal noise conditions.
• Must be able to work in Lab setting with exposure to Animals/biohazards / Chemicals (List specific Chemicals) 
• Must not have animal allergies to applicable species in this facility 
• Must be able to wear appropriate PPE
• Must be able to work in environment with variable noise levels
• Ability to stand /Sit/walk for long periods of time
• Ability to Lift 10 lbs routinely
• Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and reach
• Ability to push/pull 10 lbs routinely/ often / occasionally
• Clarity of Vision
• Ability to identify and distinguish colors
• Must be able to perform activities with repetitive motions
• Ability to climb Ladders / Stairs / Scaffolding
• Ability to work in variable temperatures high to freezing
• Inside/outside working conditions
