2023 SABPA Board Election

About this Event

The 2023 SABPA BOD election committee is now accepting nominations.

In 2023, Seven (7) seats are open for election.

Eligibility:

• SABPA lifetime membership
• Integrity, leadership skills, and teamwork spirit
• On one of SABPA committees for at least one year
• Significant contribution and a long-term commitment to SABPA

Timeline:

• June 26^th, 2023: Announcement and nomination starts
• July 24^th, 2023: Nomination closes
• August 10^th, 2023: Deadline for nominees to submit one slide of self-introduction
• August 24^rd, 2023: Online voting starts
• September 13^th, 2023: Online voting closes
• September 15^th, 2023: Announcement of Election outcome

Nomination process:

• Anyone with a current SABPA membership can nominate one or more candidate(s)
• Nominating member is responsible for ensuring that the candidate meets the above requirements
• To nominate a candidate, please complete and send the 2023 SABPA BOD Nomination Form via email to election@sabpa.org, and copy the candidate as notification. Please note that the nomination closes on July 26^th, 2023
• A minimum of three nominating members are required for a SABPA member to become an official candidate for the SABPA Board of Directors
• The Election Committee reserves the right to investigate the qualifications of each candidate and disqualify any candidate who does not meet the Eligibility criteria.
