About SABPA
SoCal Association for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Advancements (SABPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in early 2002 by professionals and scholars from the San Diego community. By 2005, SABPA had expanded its presence to Orange County and Los Angeles. Today, SABPA boasts over 4,000 members and subscribers, including scholars, professionals, and entrepreneurs within Southern California's biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
SABPA is entirely managed and operated by volunteers. Team cohesion and collaboration are key to SABPA's growth and success, helping to shape its unique character. This strong foundation has allowed SABPA to fulfill its mission while continuously building collective power and synergy among its members and collaborators.

SABPA Membership
Becoming a SABPA member not only allows you to be part of a wonderful and dynamic community of like-minded professionals who are passionate about biotech and life science industry, but also provides a lot of opportunities for you to learn, to network, to grow and to have a positive impact on the community.
In addition, below are some of the major SABPA membership benefits and privileges:

- Eligibility to run for SABPA board of directors or to be appointed to the leadership team

- Regular Membership ($100)
- Full-time Student Membership ($50)
- Lifetime Membership ($500)
