Job Description:

Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual as Marketing Manager to join our business development team. iXCells Biotechnologies is an innovative cell biology and cell technology company that provides preclinical drug discovery solutions with a focus on disease relevant cellular models, enabling technologies and services to the global academic, biotech, and pharma communities to accelerate the pace of drug discovery.

We are searching for a Marketing Manager to help grow iXCells Biotechnologies global brand. You will serve as a key member of the business development team to help the company achieve commercial goals and objectives. The role involves planning, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns essential for presales activities, generating, nurturing, and qualifying leads (MQLs) for sales development, and defining and tracking metrics for marketing success. You will utilize your scientific knowledge, sales and/or lab experience to create new marketing content to aid in the deployment of marketing campaigns, enhance value propositions that resonate with customer value drivers, and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective competitive positioning of products and services.  You have a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, marketing automation resources, and the sales development process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead development, scoring, nurturing, and qualification (MQLs), execution, management, and optimization of paid media strategies, as well as analysis, to drive demand generation across channels (e.g., SEO, emails, website, webinars, blogs, PPC, social media, direct mail, PRs, Tradeshows, prospecting)
  2. Create and maintain website content, monitor traffic, coordinate efforts with commercial team to develop and plan marketing playbooks and campaigns, track performance of these activities to increase lead generation and sales funnel conversion rates.
  3. Leverage data to advance paid media strategies, track and report campaign and channel effectiveness, uncover relevant insights, and identify channel optimization opportunities to ensure highest possible return on marketing spends
  4. Collaborate with sales team to generate necessary content, flyers, posters, slide decks etc., to support customer outreach
  5. Serve as the point of contact for vendors/service providers needed to execute marketing initiatives 
  6. Meet with distributors, prospects and customers at networking events, conferences and site meetings
  7. Conduct market analysis, assist sales team in gathering intelligence on competitors, customer accounts, and prospective buyers using online research tools, present findings to management
  8. Manage marketing team to execute all necessary tasks to support growth of iXCells Biotechnologies’ customer base
  9. Work together with the Business Development team to ensure all possible actions are done in order to secure business in competitive situations
  10. Participate in regular Sales meetings
  11. Assist with promotion and execution of company events

 

Requirements:

  1. BA/BS in Marketing or Bachelor’s degree in relevant life science field with preferred experience in primary cells/stem cell research, cell engineering, and/or CRO services, especially in a Drug Discovery setting
  2. 1-2 years’ experience in a technical marketing setting or a related field with customer-facing experience
  3. Experience with strategic sales skills and proven ability to develop and grow key accounts is preferred
  4. Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities in both sales and scientific settings.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to deliver presentations to management team
  6. Strong organizing skills and ability to track multiple projects
  7. Creative thinker, solid understanding of social media channels
  8. High proficiency in PC and app-based software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM application, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google application suite)
  9. Preferred experience using Enterprise Resource Planning solutions, such as Oracle, SAP, or alternative software platforms
  10. Exemplify a growth mindset and demonstrate a bias for action and results, consistently self-evaluating and adjusting to improve performance
  11. Ability to travel to business venues for multiple days, on occasion
